FAIRFIELD -- Herman B. Raven, 64, died Nov. 9 after a long illness. He was born at Wade Feb. 18, 1906, the son of John and Rose (Farley) Raven.
He had formerly lived in Albion and Unity where he was a truck driver for Lee Brothers.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth of here; two daughters, Mrs. Carol Violette of Burnham and Mrs. Dorothy Trask of Fairfield; five grandchildren; a half-brother, William of Thorndike; four half-sisters, Mrs. Minnie Pooler of Presque Isle, Mrs. Lila Scott of Brewer, Mrs. Mattie Knowles of Brooks, and Mrs. Etta Abbott of Thorndike; several nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, the Rev. Albert McMickle officiating.
Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Albion.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
