She worked many years for several local shoe companies. She is survived by three sons, Ralph Gordon of Unity, Harold Gordon of Freeport and Raymond Gordon of Belfast; daughter, Hazel Seekins of Freeport; step-son. Clinton H. Field of Freeport; step-daughter, Virginia Field of Douglasville, GA; one brother, John Merry of Bangor of Bangor; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the Lindquist Funeral Home, Yarmouth. Burial was in Gray Village Cemetery. Ruby married George Clarence Gordon on 4 Nov 1916 in Belfast, ME.1 (George Clarence Gordon was born on 29 Nov 1886 in Knox, ME,1 9 died on 17 Aug 1968 in Belfast, ME and was buried in Knox Station Cemetery, Knox, ME.)
